Monica came into my life during some of the hardest and darkest days, I unexpectedly lost my mom. Balancing my own grief, my young kids grief and still keeping all the daily things moving, felt like I was always fighting an uphill battle with no light at the end of the tunnel. She held space for me in a way that made me feel comfortable to share every feeling I was feeling; through the sadness, the confusion, the anger, the guilt and every feeling in between, she made me feel safe and with no judgment.
